About Cloudflare
Cloudflare was founded in 2009 by Matthew Prince, Lee Holloway and Michelle Zatlyn. Its network in hundreds of cities sits in front of millions of websites, speeding them up and protecting them against DDoS attacks and malicious traffic.
Besides the CDN, DNS and web application firewall, Cloudflare offers zero-trust access for companies, R2 object storage without egress fees, and Workers for running code at the edge. Its free plan made it popular with small sites.
