Accessibility statement
Companies Radar wants everyone to be able to find and compare companies, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, starts with a “Skip to main content” link and shows where the focus is.
- Form fields have visible labels; errors say what went wrong and are announced to screen readers.
- Text and controls meet the AA colour-contrast ratios in light and dark mode; the layout works at 400% zoom and on small screens.
- Images have text alternatives; charts are summarised in text and their numbers are available as tables.
- Rotating banners can be paused and respect “reduce motion”; sticky elements never cover the focused field.
- Every release is checked with automated accessibility tests (axe) on desktop and mobile, plus manual keyboard checks.
Known limitations
- Content written by companies (descriptions, logos) may not always meet our standards; we correct it when told.
- Advertisements and security checks come from other providers; we choose accessible options but can't control every detail.
