Data removal policy

Draft text for review – the final version will be published here.

Companies Radar lists businesses, not private individuals. This page explains how to correct or remove information about a company, and how to remove personal data.

Correcting a company profile

If you represent the company, claim the profile (the link is on every profile). After verification you can propose changes from your company dashboard; our team checks them before they go live. Anyone can also point out a mistake through the contact form.

Removing a company profile

  1. Open the profile and choose Request removal.
  2. Confirm the request from the e-mail we send you. We may ask you to show that you represent the company.
  3. Our team decides and tells you the outcome by e-mail. You can follow the status on the page linked in that e-mail.

A removed profile disappears from the site, from search and from our sitemaps, and its address tells search engines that the page is gone. The company's domain is added to a do-not-list so that our crawler and imports never add it again.

Removing personal data

If a profile or a review contains your personal data, or you want your account and its data deleted, see the Privacy Policy for your rights. Signed-in users can download or delete their data under Account → Your data; anyone can write to our Grievance Officer (see Grievance redressal).

What we keep

We keep a short record of the removal request and our decision, so that we can show what was done and stop the data from being added again.
