About Companies Radar
Draft text for review – the final version will be published here.
Finding the right software vendor, cloud platform, hosting company or IT partner usually means a dozen open tabs, marketing pages that all say the same thing, and very little you can compare side by side. Companies Radar exists to make that first step easier: one directory of technology companies from around the world, with the facts laid out the same way for every one of them.
What you can do here
- Browse companies and products by category and country, sorted by a published ranking method rather than by who paid the most.
- Compare products and companies side by side – features, pricing model, deployment options and where they operate.
- Read reviews from people who have used a product, checked by our team against our review guidelines before they appear.
- Save companies to a watch list and follow categories, so new entries come to you.
Why companies are listed
Listed companies get a profile that buyers can actually find – on category and country pages, in search and in comparisons – with a link to their own website. Once a company has claimed its profile, its team can keep the details up to date, reply to reviews and see how many people viewed the profile and clicked through.
How companies and products get into the directory
Some companies add themselves. Others we find through public sources such as company websites, which our crawler reads politely (it follows robots.txt and says who it is – see About our crawler). Either way, a person on our team reviews every profile before it is published, and profile descriptions are written by our team or supplied by the company – never copied from elsewhere.
How profiles are verified
A profile marked Verified has been claimed by someone who proved they work for the company – with an e-mail address on the company's own domain or a DNS record – and our team checked the claim. We also check every listed website regularly, and each profile shows a Website Score that explains what we could confirm. Paid options never change the ranking or the Website Score, and anything sponsored is labelled.
Our aim
Good technology companies exist everywhere, not only in the few markets that dominate search results. We want a small hosting firm in one country and a large cloud provider in another to be found on the same terms – by clear, comparable information.
