About Cloudflare R2
Cloudflare R2 is object storage with an S3-compatible API, so existing S3 tools and SDKs work against it, and it charges no egress fees when data is read out. Buckets can be used natively from Cloudflare Workers code, made public for static assets, and filled gradually from another provider by copying objects as they are requested. Typical uses include application and user content, logs, AI training data and analytics datasets, with an Apache Iceberg-compatible catalog for querying structured data where it is stored.
