Zscaler was founded in 2007 by Jay Chaudhry and K. Kailash. Its Zero Trust Exchange routes users' traffic through a global security cloud, connecting users directly to applications instead of to the corporate network.
Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access replace legacy firewalls, web proxies and VPNs for large organisations. The company is listed on Nasdaq and has a large engineering centre in India.
