About DigitalOcean

DigitalOcean was founded in New York in 2011 by Ben and Moisey Uretsky and others, with the aim of making cloud servers simple and affordable for developers. Its Droplets, predictable pricing and extensive tutorials made it popular with start-ups and small businesses.

The platform now includes managed Kubernetes, databases, object storage (Spaces), an app platform and GPU servers for AI workloads, with data centres in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, including Bengaluru.
