About Pocket HRMS
Pocket HRMS provides cloud HR and payroll software for Indian businesses. The product covers employee management, attendance and leave, an employee self-service portal, payroll through its smHRt Payroll module, expense management, full and final settlement, 360-degree performance appraisals, recruitment, timesheets and HR reports, and includes a mobile app for payslips, leave requests and selfie-based attendance. An AI chatbot, smHRty, answers HR questions for employees.
The product traces back to Pocket Payroll, a desktop payroll application released in 2004. It grew into a broader HR suite in 2008, moved to the cloud in 2015 and was renamed Pocket HRMS in 2017. Since 2023 the business has operated as Pocket smHRt Tech Pvt. Ltd., a company separate from its former parent Greytrix India Pvt. Ltd. The platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure.
Pocket HRMS states that more than 2,000 companies use it to manage over 5 million employees. Its first-listed office is in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai, with further offices in Gurugram, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Pune. Plans are billed monthly with a 50-employee base price and a per-employee charge above that.
