About Keka

Keka is an Indian software company that builds a cloud platform for human resources, payroll and people management. Its products cover core HR records, onboarding, time and attendance, payroll with Indian statutory compliance, expense claims, benefits, hiring, performance reviews, OKRs, learning and employee engagement. A separate suite supports professional services teams with timesheets, resource planning, project billing and invoicing.

The company is headquartered in Hyderabad and lists offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and New Delhi, as well as entities in the United States and the United Arab Emirates. Its payroll content covers rules for all Indian states and union territories, and it runs country sites for the US and several Gulf markets. Press coverage describes its target market as companies with roughly 20 to 5,000 employees.

Keka grew on its own revenue for several years before raising USD 57 million from WestBridge Capital in November 2022, a round that Indian media reported as the largest Series A for a domestic SaaS company. At that time it reported more than 5,500 customers and monthly payroll for about 1.5 million employees.
