About Tally Solutions

Tally Solutions was founded in 1986 by Shyam Sunder Goenka and his son Bharat Goenka, originally as Peutronics. Its accounting software became a standard for Indian small and medium businesses and accountants, known for fast keyboard-driven data entry.

TallyPrime covers accounting, inventory, GST and e-invoicing, banking and payroll, and runs on a Windows PC with optional remote access. Tally is based in Bengaluru and also serves the Middle East, Africa and South-East Asia.
