About Odoo
Odoo was started in Belgium in 2005 by Fabien Pinckaers as TinyERP, later renamed OpenERP and then Odoo. It offers a modular suite of business apps – accounting, sales, CRM, inventory, manufacturing, HR, e-commerce and website builder – that share one database.
The Community edition is open source; the Enterprise edition adds more apps, hosting and support. Thousands of partners and community developers extend it, which makes Odoo a common choice for small and mid-sized businesses.
