About Figma

Figma Design is the company's main product: a collaborative interface design tool with vector editing, prototyping, design systems and multiplayer editing. Around it are FigJam, a digital whiteboard for brainstorming and diagramming; Figma Make, an AI tool that turns prompts into code-backed prototypes; and Figma Slides for presentations. The pricing page also lists Dev Mode, Figma Draw, Figma Sites, Figma Motion and Figma Buzz.

The company was founded in 2012 by Dylan Field and Evan Wallace and is headquartered in the Phelan Building in San Francisco. It went public on the New York Stock Exchange on 31 July 2025 under the ticker FIG, when it had 13 million users. Wikipedia records 1,886 employees and revenue of US$1.06 billion for 2025. An earlier agreement for Adobe to buy Figma for about $20 billion was abandoned by both companies in December 2023, with Adobe paying a $1 billion break-up fee.

Figma sells a free Starter plan alongside Professional at US$16 per full seat per month, Organization at US$55 and Enterprise at US$90 per month billed annually. Its downloads page lists a desktop app for macOS and Windows and mobile apps for iOS, iPad and Android, and the tools are used mainly by design, engineering and product teams.
