Calendly

Calendly is a meeting scheduling platform. Users set their availability and share a link or event type, and invitees pick a time that is written straight into Google or Microsoft Outlook calendars, which removes the back-and-forth of arranging meetings. Around that the company sells reminders and follow-ups, meeting polls, routing and round-robin distribution for teams, analytics, a mobile app and a browser extension, and more than 100 integrations with calendar, video, CRM, recruiting and payment tools.

The company also covers the rest of the meeting workflow: Notetaker records and summarises calls on Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, Payments collects card or PayPal payments at booking, Contacts keeps relationship history, and Callie, still in beta, coordinates scheduling over email. There is a free plan alongside Standard, Teams and Enterprise plans priced per seat. Calendly says more than 50 million people use it, with monthly active users in over 240 countries and more than 1.3 billion meetings booked.

Calendly was founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 2013 by Tope Awotona. In January 2021 it raised $350 million from OpenView Venture Partners and Iconiq at a reported $3 billion valuation, and in July 2021 it closed its Atlanta office and moved to an all-remote workforce, where it remains. The company reported 424 employees in April 2022 and added AI note-taking features in August 2026.
